Form 6

Alright, started form 6 approximately 1.5 months ago. So, I got into this L6B3 class which in case is the third class of biology stream and I'm not quite happy about that . I always want to get into second class in my entire life but I had failed to do so since kindergarten I assume, perhaps I have to work my ass off this year just to try changing the "unchangeable" ... But things are getting better now just because B3 is getting more alike to 5s3 which I fancy so much and made such tremendous amount of great memories within that year. Somehow I got pretty lucky because majority of the 5s3 students are in the class and thus making it more like a clone of 5s3 without the "chimpanzee", but hey, look at the brighter side, we still have the "wild boar" right? And And, let's try not to forget the newcomers to Sam Tet - The chicks. So for those who are originated from all boys school, no worries, they are much much more daring than the guys so don't ever judge the book by the cover, they are bunch of Crazy fellas, damn! =D

The moment

Well, a picture worth a thousand words.

Screw Est.

.... I had decided to get my result on 11:11am to get a total of 11A1 , but to no avail, my parents were more nervous than me and they sent me to school by around 10:50 am, maybe that is the primary reason for me not scoring straight A's, Bleh. excuse excuse excuse , haha. We had to walk a longer route in order to reach the school hall due to the reconstruction of the basketball court, well lucky me, I'm doing form 6!!

The hall was not ready yet when I reached there, so I decided to sit outside where all ex-form 5 students were hanging around. There were no familiar faces since majority of them have changed their hairstyle to very long or very short, I have to say I'm pity towards the national service trainees, they were like wearing a cap 24/7 trying to cover up their short hair. Well, back to the topic, the newspaper stated that the result will be distributed at 10:00 am, but this is Malaysia, no such thing as punctuation. While there waiting for the result, meet kian teong in red shirt, standing with his father, indicating brilliant result soon to be revealed. Chatted some and zhen hui with the PRD gang except chooi arrived. Only on 11:30am , we are allow to take our result. Skip the emotional part, we went to Jusco and watched dragonball and then to Infinity.

Went back home and I receive this from my dad, a box.

What's inside the box? A box.

What's inside the box? Tada, a watch.

First, I do not wear watch.
Second, this watch is just not worth the price.
Third, I do not wear watch!!

This is the least expected present ever I had in 18 years. Something which I'll never use, except during exam. Well, sincerity is all we need regardless of what we received, right? Yet, I still think it don't worth the price.

2008 Memories

Let's see, In the first month of 2008 a.k.a January , I had been placed in 5s3, a great class, which I'm extremely grateful about it since I did very very bad in my form 4 exam, it's great to be able to maintain in the first 3 classes , bleh. Well, last year I am forced to sit with Tan Jie Shyan since there was a empty sit beside him and it was placed in front of the teacher's desk, how cool was that. At the very first look at Tan Jie Shyan, he has the look of a nub and naive kid but it turns out to be not. He is truly a very generous guy I'm not a shoes-licker which he is willing to teach me lots and lots of things especially General Knowledge and putting huge effort trying to pull me out of my zaman jahiliah lol ( I doubt that) . Coincidentally, my friends , Lee Kah Wai and Chee Zhi Yang which we were separated during form 3 are back again and they sit right behind me, is that blessing in disguise or just pure calamity? Hehe xD. Well, several new students had joined our class and few left us, but hey, there are few students that are in the same class with me all along these 5 consecutive years naming Tan Kian Teong and Koh Lian Shern.

February, nothing much to crap on it, just normal homework and so on.

March, this month is GREAT! It's my first time to participate in a MSSD International Chess competition. I only get to know the date of competition ON the day the competition was held and that was HELL because I need more practices before-hand because I just started chess 3 months ago! Let's see, me and my school's representative arrived at school on the morning, waited for our teacher advisor, and we were brought to SMK Jalan Tasik. SMK Jalan Tasik is a boys and girls school, I don't know what is that called but whatever, my English is weak. The competition was held in some connected class rooms, but the very first thing I noticed arriving there is there is something wrong with the boards on the tables, the position of the king and queen are inversely placed. It's pretty common in Malaysia because before I get started with chess, I always thought that the king must be placed facing with the opponent's queen or vice-versa. Luckily they fixed them before the competition start else I'll have to play some weird games , lol. Okay done with the first part, now to the second most IMPORTANT part. You know , as a girl guy , it's a must to turn on your radar and scan the surrounding for some prey when you are in a new environment. Well , I thought that there will only disappointment because ZERO pretty girl will participate in this so-freaking-nerd game but I was proven wrong, there are quite a number of girls that are cute, haha maybe I should stop before I start showing my true color. Okay, before we start the competition, we had to check where we should sit in a list printed and pasted on the door. To my surprise, the first seeded player for the male under-18 section had an ELO rating of around 1700 , WHAT THE HELL. No, that's just not enough, Even the 2nd seed to like 5th seed have a rating over 1600 and for you readers that doesn't know about the rating thingy, having around 1600-1700 rating is rated as an advanced player! That was the last thing ever came across my mind that a MSSD competition is fetching such a high rating players when our country is not so popular with this game! Well, I'll be crash like a coca-cola can IF I can face them , but I don't even get a chance to face them due to my low points. Skip the whining, we have to play 7 games in like 7-8 hours, 20 minutes each side. You can feel the lactic acid accumulating in our brain, not breathing, calculating deeply, playing end games, making mistakes and trying to cover the mistake, it's just like hell on earth. At the end of the day, I had won 4/7 while my team mates are getting 4/7, 5/7 and 5/7. While for the first seeded player, he had won all 7 games with perfect score of 7/7 , how incredible is that huh? We were fetch back home by our teacher advisor and that's all for the MSSD International Chess '08 competition.

I'm sorry for the grammar mistakes as I am trying my best to rectify it before the MUET exam which all form sixes have to face. Thank you for your time and there will be more interesting blog coming right after this!
